Coffee Tea And Espresso

Coffee Tea And Espresso at Amazon

I think most persons would agree that having a coffee maker at the office is fundamentally a must have item. Sure a large total of humans show up in the morning with the fresh cup of Starbucks in their hand, but that’s because they quiver at the thought of beginning their day with the sludge that spews out from that old dual pot industrial office machine that was put into service back when they were still in college.

The simple fact is that people do not precisely take pleasure in spending $5 or more for that cup of coffee, but they have acquired tastebuds for fresh coffee, and most times even a particular treat like espresso, cappuccino and the like, which leaves that old dual pot industrial machine totally out of the picture.

One way to put a great deal of fun back into the office kitchen is to all pitch in a few bucks and get a tassimo coffee maker that makes fantastic one cup servings of coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, hot tea, latte and more. The best percentage is that each cup is brewed to perfection without ever having to press more than one button.

The machine uses tiny pouches called “t-discs” which have a barcode on the top and when you insert one of these into the machine it scans the barcode and goes to work calculating the precise amount of water needed, brewing time, brew temperature etc and in beneath two minutes you have a perfectly brewed cup of cappuccino, espresso or what ever you wanted!

Picture yourself just after lunch thinking regarding a great fresh cup of coffee and being capable to walk back to the lunchroom and place your favored coffee cup from home underneath the tassimo machine spout and watch it brew a perfective cup for you in when it comes to one minute.

I’ll bet it wouldn’t take long for your co-workers to spring for the few bucks it would take for that luxury. In fact I’ll bet the boss might even spring for it when the idea is staged that humans might genuinely show up for work earlier because they didn’t have to make the trip to starbucks and the afternoon caffeine jolt might increase productivity even more! Even if the boss is a cheap skate, the savings that may be realized by not spending $5 or more for that cup of java will without apparent effort offset the investment in a tassimo coffee machine for the office.

4Good content, but very choppy

How to Open a Financially Successful Coffee, Espresso & Tea Shop” by Elizabeth Godsmark, Lora Aduser, and Douglas R. Brown is great for beginners looking into possibly opening a coffee shop. The book touches on a lot of information that is generic to any business, but it is a good starting point. It provides basic information on writing a business plan, scouting out a location, buying equipment, hiring a staff and more.

While adoring coffee or tea may help, it is not enough to make your new coffee and tea business an instant success. This reference book, written by successful authors Elizabeth Godsmark, Lora Arduser and Douglas Brown, should be your starting point. The predictable chapters are here – inventory and labor cost control, location assessment, public relations and bookkeeping – but there are also tidbits of information not found in similarly marketed guides. These include Internet marketing strategies, the pros and cons of buying a franchise and strategies for recruiting and retaining skilled employees. The personnel section is particularly helpful as employees are often the cornerstone of success, especially in a business where exemplary customer service is imperative. If you are not familiar with beverage and food service operational details, you will want to make it a priority to bookmark chapters 5 & 6 as they provide helpful hints on selecting gourmet coffee, choosing appropriate equipment – such as grinders, espresso machines and steamers – and a quick “cheat sheet” on tea types. On the included CD-ROM you will find a sample business plan for “Cupa Joe”, as well as pertinent business forms and a coffee and tea shop supply list. This book is easy to read, offers invaluable tricks of the trade and helps prepare you for the rewarding task of opening your own coffee and tea shop. Highly recommended.

This book really focuses on larger, more franchise like coffee shops. If you have dreams of opening a small coffee bar in your town it’s possible this book goes above and beyond what you need.
